One of the marketing initiatives for the soft opening of The Nest CDO is to invite bloggers and influencers. And for the first time, I had this opportunity to worked with these two leading lifestyle bloggers- David Guison and Vina Guerrero.

Looking at these two, definitely matches the concept of the brand.

All thanks to our PR officer who reaches out to them and gladly received a positive response.

One of the marketing initiatives for the soft opening of The Nest CDO is to invite bloggers and influencers. And for the first time, I ha...
Truly with a bang! Not just once but twice! We invited Jomie Hospital and his team to perform at Boy Zugba Corrales.

Proudly a Butuan-on, Jomie Hospital, a 23-year old online personality from the city of Gingoog is sharing his wit and talent through his well crafted, witty and funny relatable videos across the social media. He is well known for his comical skits and well-played characters together with  his brother Abing and Madam Cece (screen name).

After MMKD's outstanding live performance, we made an intensive research on how we can invite Jomie other than messaging him on FB. Like other famous online personalities, it is a great challenge to get notice given that he has high and active online engagements. Luckily, we have Sir Vic, who once worked with Jomie, helped us in getting in touch with him.

Jomie and his team are so excited about their FIRST on-stage performance.

We're overwhelmed with those positive responses and requests from our online audience and with that, we bring them once again to another performance. This time, we have now have Madam Cece ;)

Video from Jomie Hospital Youtube page

Not everyone knows who Mayman Ka Dhai (MMKD) is. This group of Dhai (slang for a girl) composed of Steffi Jardin and Meunnie Cullantes.

MMKD is one of the few rising bisaya online sensation taking every millennial to a new level of practical parody videos. With almost 100k Facebook followers and has a very high engagement, these individuals are slowly and consistently establishing their name in the vlogging world.

One video that made them popular is the How to Be a Fashion Blogger which has approx. 100k views, a thousands of engagements attracting every young how to pose like pro and showing –unfiltered life of a blogger.

Now as Boy Zugba, a proudly Kagay-anon restaurant supports Bisaya Artist, we invited Steffi and Meunnie to perform on stage to Boy Zugba's every Friday Night Show “Tara Go Its Beerness”. With great anticipation as this will be their “First Live” performance, these two never missed any funny skits from their popular videos now turned live show for their fans.

Indeed, it was a fun and full packed performance almost everyone demands a second round. It’s funny how I just randomly scroll to my FB page and share it with the team, then it turns out to be a major special event for the brand. This is great opportunity to boost bisaya talents and be connected with their CDO fans.

Thank you sir Vic Madriaga for the feature:

Now, this last marketing activity is so dear to me. Despite the almost-canceled-planned due to some unforeseen circumstances, we're happy that we're able to pull it off.

Thanks to my never-give-up inday attitude which pushes me so hard to continue this almost a month-long planned activity. Since Missy Bon Bon kiosk is strategically located at the departure area of Laguindingan Airport, we gave out hundreds of pastel boxes to every passenger. See how excited and proud we were in sharing this sweet treat with them. Watch until the end ;)

And I still get the same chill watching the video. Overwhelmed by the positive feedback and online engagement (almost 50k facebook views) and offline results; seeing the reactions of those who were able to receive and those who are happy with the kind of initiative we made are worth more than a dollar of happiness and we are so humbled

So blessed I got the best team! <3

This wouldn’t be possible with the coordination of our kiosk manager Ms. Bevirlyn Galupo, admin officers of Laguindigan airport for allowing us to celebrate our 6th anniversary (I know how tight the security is), kudos to the security head and personnel as well for assisting us in placing the pastel boxes on the conveyor belt. And of course, my teammates at this project– Johari, AJ and the best videographer in town- Micheal Sy! Without you guys, things will never turn out so well.

PS.. Including me in the video was never in the plan. A light makeup, spontaneous scripts and sudden change of some concepts are just one of the challenges me and the team encounter.
Happy birthday Missy Bon Bon! And I’m so glad to be part of another milestone of this brand I’ve been handling for months now. I’d like to share the (3/3) different marketing initiatives we’ve made:

Mktg Activity (1/3) Pre Event Media Night Launching

A pre-anniversary party was held with media and influencer guests, including the 2016 Ms CDO 2015 royal court, fellow bloggers, friends from the media, loyal customers, partnered brands such as Spruce and Mags, we invited them to a Gelato All You Can at Missy Bon Bon Garden.

Before our branch runs out for a gelato ,  just kidding, we let our guests be the first splurge themselves to an unlimited gelato. Pistachio, blueberry, chocolate, bubblegum are some of the gelato flavors  at that night.

Thank you to Mags for the photo wall, DJ Red and Ms J for spinning great music.

Mktg Activity (2/3) Gelato All You Can

So the day has come to definitely splurge yourselves to a Gelato-all-You-Can! This is for the first time that Missy Bon Bon offers this to everyone all for Php 299! Tickets are sold out as well and we are overwhelmed by all their responses.

See how everybody is excited and are lining up even an hour before we open to the public our gelato-all you can!

Together with our LKK main branch, we also celebrated at our Davao City branches. Thanks to our well-coordinated managers for making this possible.

While everyone is so excited and getting all the gelato flavors they want, my team and I are in the midst of fulfilling our last and nerve wrecking video project. See Mktg Activity (3/3) Airport Commercial Video in my next post. This is the activity that I almost cried/emotional due to unforeseen circumstances. Find out how this almost didn’t turn out something right, really right.

*Insert Hanap- Hanap lyrics here
Ika'y aking pangarap
'Di nagbabago ikaw ang hanap-hanap ko

*Disclaimer: This is meant to be read by a fangirl as well lol

Everytime I hear this song, it makes me feel so kilig reminiscing the first time I saw James Reid and Nadine Lustre perform live and upclose during their last Jadine In Love Concert at Atrium, Limketkai Center.

The I know I'm creepy I just dont care vibe is so high the moment the concert began. People are getting crazy and screams are so loud you barely hear their voices sing.

As they are one of the hottest teams in the Philippines today, James Reid and Nadine Lustre never fails to surprise their fans with the first Jadine in Love- CDO tour

We are very grateful for our boss' approval in sponsoring the dinner and snacks of the organizing team of JADINE. This is our "Golden Key" towards our VVIP access haha.  Together with my colleague, Jezyl who is definitely the #1 fan, we were with them from the exclusive media press conference down to their rehearsals and event proper.

It’s hard not to act as a fangirl so as to stay in composure if you see them preparing and rehearsing on stage before the large crowd comes. The management has a strict no-photo policy while the rehearsal is ongoing.

Sharing some snapshots during the concert:

Everything is beginning to feel surreal.

What a night to remember and thus our best Christmas gift we have. So this is us before the concert began. You can't expect us in good disposition right after the concert lol.

Update: I finally got a job! My #YOLO days are gone and now, I can finally admit to myself that I’m ready to face the conduits of life.

BUT... this blog post won’t talked about my first work experience rather I would like to share how I finally find the courage and regained my lost soul after being dominated with random unemployed thoughts couple of weeks ago. This would probably help those people who were once or still like me- a lost yet feeling amazing Gen Y batch 2015.

Last month, my parents supported me with my unquenched desire to travel and the exciting part here is that for the first time, I will travel alone! And I chose to visit those people I knew from different cities and other far-flung provinces.

This totally gives me more freedom to explore and do what I want. Below are some of the activities I’ve done:
  • Reunited with old friends
  • Talked to a stranger in the bus
  • Got my own daily routine exercise
  • Read more more more books
  • Ate good food from different restaurants
  • Spent more time with cousins and relatives.
  • Swim beaches, pools and springs
  • Attends local concert and live band
  • Watched classic movies
  • Ride different means of transportation- Kalesa, jeepney, bike, van, bus, barge etc
These may seem so cliché and a normal routine but these are not predictable and comforting because I’ve been pondering from different places. I may suggest you do the same. Not necessarily to travel, but just simply do things that make you feel better and not sluggish.

From my own trip, I was able to build and rekindled relationships; it added a level of clarity into some personal aspects; does remove burnout; and I finally bring the good back to life. We are too much focus or worried about the future that we neglect to love ourselves, appreciate the little things that surround us and forgot that by living presently is the only time we can control.

While you’re not yet obliged to work 8 hours a day, start doing things that you wanted to do because as a fresh graduate, the only important asset you have right now is TIME. You have no reason to worry because things just unfold in right manner especially when combined with hardwork and faith. Just as when I’m emotionally ready that I unexpectedly got hired by a certain company. See? We just have to let life play its course and just be. Seize the day!
