It was indeed a successful fun-filled meet and greet event with today's leading digital influencers in the country- Laureen Uy, Camille Co, Nicole Andersson, Vern Enciso and Verniece Enciso at Maison de Bon de Bonbon Restaurant last July 23, 2016. Together with the winners of our #Thenestcdo online contest, everyone gets really excited to see their favorite digital icons and listens to their pieces of advice about life, fashion and of course, into blogging.

If I am to share how I am feeling at that very moment, it's really indescribable. I've never imagine to see all of my favorites into one setting and a challenge chance to organize the said event for them!

Thanks to James Tubeo for hosting the event, Jezyl Butaya and Grace Dy (brand officers) for initiating other internal activities, Vic Madriaga as our social media strategist, Micheal Sy as our videographer and Mikko Mahinay (MIA) as our PR officer.

It was an exclusive and intimate event where winners get to see upclose with these influencers at the center of the long table.

Here I am to Share 4 things I've Learned:

No one starts off being excellent
As you can see on their respective accounts, all their content emphasizes a great quality of images, videos and blog posts. Because admittedly, readers won't stop by your page unless you create visually appealing material with a substantial content. But before they become proficient at what they do, they allow themselves to be a beginner; Enciso sisters thoroughly share to practice, get out and shoot every day and learn what you do best.

Be Your Authentic Self
"To be authentic is not to allow a situation or person to change you, unless for the better." Camille Co said. In this digital world, it is really hard to compete with others, as with anything else, you have to focus on being the best you by affirming your potential, shrug off public opinion and building the best business for yourself and to your readers.

Never be afraid to make mistakes
I remember Laureen Uy mentioned that before, there are some styles that she regretted posting online because she puts too much accessories. But one thing she wanted to share is to learn from every mistakes you make. Experience will always be a good teacher. And it is really important to know what kind of style you're in because it then reflects you as a person. Research well, try different trends and surround yourself with good people who can mentor you. Hence, whatever makes you look good makes you feel good.

On handling bashers

Bashers will always be there. Some are even really mean but don’t take it too personally. It takes time to get used of it. As what Nicole Andersson said "Minsan ang sarap ng patulan pero you know what, just appreciate them." For every troll, there are a thousands of people who value what you do.
